Privacy Policy

This policy describes, honestly and specifically, what DealSearch.in actually does today. The site is simple: static pages, no accounts, and no ad network — but we do use Google Analytics, described below. We'll update this page whenever that changes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, which pages and deals people find useful — things like which pages get visited, roughly how long for, approximate location (city/country level, from your IP address), and device or browser type. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this measurement. We don't use it to identify you individually, and we don't combine it with anything else to build a personal profile.

Google processes this data under its ownprivacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites usingGoogle's browser add-on, or block it with your browser's tracking-protection or ad-blocking settings.

What we still don't do

• We don't set any cookies of our own (only Google Analytics does, as described above).
• We don't show third-party advertising.
• We don't have user accounts, logins, or a newsletter — there's no form on this site collecting your name, email, or any personal detail.
• We don't store anything in your browser's local storage.

Server logs

Like effectively every website, our hosting server keeps basic technical logs of requests it receives — things like IP address, browser type, and the page requested — for security and troubleshooting. We don't use these logs to build a profile of you, and we don't share them with anyone.

The search box and category filters on our homepage run entirely in your own browser, filtering deals already loaded on the page. Nothing you type there is sent anywhere.

Leaving our site

Every "Get Deal" button takes you to a merchant's own website (see ourAffiliate Disclosure). Once you're there, that merchant's own privacy policy applies — we don't see what happens on their site, and they're a separate company from us.

If this changes

If we ever add advertising, accounts, or anything beyond the analytics described above, we'll update this page first to describe exactly what's added, why, and what it means for you — not after the fact.
