How DealSearch.in verifies deals

DealSearch.in verifies every deal with an automated pipeline in four stages: a merchant allowlist, link resolution, duplicate checks and price checks. Deals that pass are listed automatically rather than reviewed by a person, and they expire on their own. Prices can still change, so always confirm on the merchant's website.

Step 1: Merchant allowlist

Every deal must lead to a merchant on our allowlist of trusted Indian stores, such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio and Nykaa. The merchant is decided by where the link actually lands, not by what the post claims. Links to any other store are dropped before a deal can be listed.

  • The allowlist is a fixed list maintained by us; a store is only added deliberately.
  • Sources that do not permit automated reuse of their content are not used.

Step 2: Link resolution

Short links such as amzn.to or fkrt.cc are opened one step at a time, up to three steps, and only through known merchant short-link hosts. Redirects to unsafe or unknown addresses are refused. Tracking and affiliate parameters are stripped, and generic landing pages are rejected so each deal points to something specific.

  • Only web addresses that are safe to open are followed; private and internal addresses are refused.
  • A link that cannot be resolved is not listed; we do not guess a destination.

Step 3: Duplicate check

A deal is never listed twice. We compare the destination link, the merchant and the product title against everything already published, and we ignore a source post we have already processed. Duplicates are blocked automatically, so repeated posts of the same offer appear as a single deal.

  • The same source post is never turned into a second deal.

Step 4: Price check

Prices, discounts and coupon codes appear only when the source post states them. We do not invent an original price, and a discount percentage is calculated only when both the deal price and the original price are stated. Amounts such as “₹500 off” are not treated as the price.

  • If a source gives no price, the deal is shown without one.
  • New Telegram deals without a verified product photo are held back. Older listings may still show a clearly branded fallback while image discovery is retried.

What verification does not do

  • It does not guarantee a price, stock or offer. Merchants change these without notice.
  • It is automated: no person reviews each deal before it is listed.
  • It does not remove every low-quality post. If a deal looks wrong, email support@dealsearch.in with the deal link.

Deals expire automatically, and the main list keeps only the newest 80. Learn more on the About page, or see how the site earns money.
